Jakarta Court schedules witness testimony in Dokter Tifa trial

The East Jakarta District Court has scheduled the examination of witnesses Dian Sandi Utama and Dumatno in the trial of Tifauzia Tyassuma, also known as Dokter Tifa. The hearing is set for Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 09:00 WIB.

The case involves allegations surrounding the academic credentials of Indonesia's 7th President, Joko Widodo. During previous proceedings, prosecutors informed the panel of judges of their intent to present these two witnesses as part of the evidentiary process.

Dokter Tifa has clarified that her analysis focused on digital documents uploaded to social media rather than physical certificates. She specifically identified digital files uploaded by Dian Sandi as the subject of her study, noting that she has never personally examined any physical documents claimed to be President Widodo's diploma.
