Jakarta government vehicles enter Car Free Day area

Several government-affiliated vehicles, including a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Alphard with 'ZZ' license plates, were recorded entering the Car Free Day (CFD) area in Jakarta on Sunday morning.

Prastowo Yustinus, the Deputy Coordinator of the Special Staff to the Governor of Jakarta, stated that the incident is being investigated as a potential violation of Governor Regulation Number 12 of 2016, which prohibits vehicles from entering the area except for gas-powered TransJakarta buses. The Department of Transportation (Dishub) and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) are currently examining the matter.
