BSI International Expo 2026 targets Rp 5 trillion in transactions

PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has officially opened the BSI International Expo 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). The event, running from October 23 to 25, features over 400 MSME tenants across 17 sectors, including fashion, food, cosmetics, and Hajj/Umrah travel products.

BSI aims to achieve transaction values of approximately Rp 5 trillion during the three-day expo, nearly doubling the Rp 2.6 trillion recorded last year. The bank also targets 65,000 visitors. The initiative, under the campaign ‘Buy Local Go Global’, seeks to strengthen the domestic market for Indonesian products and prepare local businesses to compete in the global halal economy.

BSI President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo emphasized that supporting local brands is essential for them to achieve the scale necessary for international competition. The bank intends to facilitate this expansion through digitalization and its international presence, including branches in Dubai.
