The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has abolished administrative penalties for late payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and the Vehicle Transfer Fee (BBNKB) from 1 June to 31 August 2026. Taxpayers can settle only the principal amount without any fines, and the authority has set up a dedicated payment booth at the Jakarta Fair (PRJ) Hall C1 in Kemayoran, allowing motorists to pay while attending the exhibition.

In parallel, the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) recognized the most compliant taxpayers through the “PKB Teladan” appreciation ceremony held at the same venue. Fifteen exemplary vehicle owners, selected from over 3,000 applicants based on three years of on‑time payments, received rewards including five electric motorcycles and a total of 22.5 grams of precious metal. The initiative aims to promote a culture of tax compliance and channel collected revenues into city infrastructure, public services, and development projects.
