Jakarta implements new digital mobility and public service innovations
The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub DKI Jakarta) is implementing several digital and service-oriented innovations to improve urban mobility and public services.
To enhance school transportation, the agency is integrating Jakarta's school buses with the provincial government's digital ecosystem. This transformation includes the use of Student Digital Identities, allowing for real-time journey monitoring to increase safety and provide data-driven insights for route optimization and service evaluation.
Additionally, the agency is launching three new mobility initiatives: a 24/7 integrated call center (1500813) for transportation reports and emergency vehicle evacuations; the 'Pelopor Kita Jakarta' program aimed at building a collaborative mobility leadership ecosystem; and a special electric shuttle service for the Car Free Day (HBKB) at Ancol, connecting Bundaran Senayan to Ancol via route 15ST.
