Jakarta job fair places 40% of participants, adds disability‑focused openings

The Jakarta Provincial Labour Office reported that about 40% of job seekers who attended the Jakarta Selatan Career Fest and Bazaar 2026 secured employment after the event’s selection process. The fair offered 3,299 vacancies across a range of sectors and was held in person on July 7‑8 at the Nyi Ageng Serang building, with an online component running from June 30 to July 15.

Among the 37 participating companies, three – PT Sumber Alfaria Tijaya TBK, TP Indonesia and Shelter Indonesia – opened positions specifically for people with disabilities, covering categories such as deaf, mute, intellectually disabled and others. The venue also provided sign‑language interpreters and other accessibility facilities for disabled applicants.
