Jakarta launches 2026 Eco Festival and offers waived‑fee vehicle tax service at Expo

Jakarta Eco Future Festival (JEFF) 2026 will be held on 3–4 July 2026 at the City Hall, organised by the DKI Jakarta Environment Agency under the theme “Aksi Nyata, Dampak Terasa”. The two‑day event includes the launch of an Early Warning System website, a MURI record for simultaneous eco‑enzyme production, reactivation of the Waste Station, forums, exhibitions, career talks, film screenings and workshops on up‑cycling plastic, reusable cloth pads and other green initiatives. Dudi Gardesi, head of the agency, said, “Menjaga lingkungan bukan hanya tugas pemerintah, tetapi gerakan bersama.”

During Pekan Raya Jakarta 2026, a temporary Samsat booth in Hall C1 of JIEXPO Kemayoran will allow motorists to pay vehicle tax and name‑change fees without incurring administrative penalties. The program, running from 1 June to 31 August 2026, removes late‑payment fines and offers a special souvenir. Morris Danny of the Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency explained, “Selama periode program berlangsung, wajib pajak dapat menyelesaikan kewajibannya dengan membayarkan pokok pajak sesuai ketentuan.”
