Police from the Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya) arrested three suspects, including two teenagers, in West Jakarta and Tangerang for distributing various illegal substances through Instagram accounts. The operation uncovered tens of packages of synthetic tobacco prepared for sale, which were seized along with several mobile phones used for transactions. The seized synthetic tobacco weighed 142.07 grams and was packaged in hundreds of parcels.

In a related sweep in Benda, Tangerang, officers detained a man identified as "AL" and seized 72.76 grams of methamphetamine, five ecstasy tablets, 44.85 grams of cannabis, and additional paraphernalia. The suspects employed a "tempel" delivery system, leaving packages at multiple locations to avoid direct contact with buyers.
