Indonesia's Mobile SIM Renewal Service Operates Across Jakarta and Regions on June 17‑18, 2026

The police traffic department in Jakarta resumed its mobile driver‑license renewal (SIM Keliling) service on 17‑18 June 2026. The programme, aimed at extending SIM A and SIM C validity, was offered at multiple sites in the capital – Lapangan Banteng (Jakarta Pusat), Mall Ciputra (Jakarta Barat), LTC Glodok (Jakarta Utara), Universitas Trilogi Kalibata (Jakarta Selatan) and Mall Grand Cakung (Jakarta Timur) – from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. Similar mobile units operated in other Indonesian cities, including Jogja (Alun‑Alun Kidul and a drive‑through at the public service mall), Gunungkidul (various village halls and markets) and Bandung (Superindo Rajawali). Applicants must bring the original and photocopy of a valid SIM, a KTP, a health certificate and a psychology‑test result. The renewal fee is 80,000 IDR for SIM A and 75,000 IDR for SIM C. The service does not cover new licences or expired SIMs; those must be processed at regular Satpas offices.
