Indonesian law enforcement agencies have conducted a series of successful narcotics operations across various provinces, resulting in numerous arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal substances.

In Riau, Polda Riau seized approximately 46.93 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (sabu) with an estimated economic value of Rp84.49 billion. The operation, which began on October 2, 2026, led to the arrest of an Indonesian Army member, AFF (32), and his brother, NS (32). Authorities believe the drugs were smuggled from Malaysia via land borders and are currently investigating the international distribution network.

In Jakarta, separate operations targeted different substances. In West Jakarta, police seized 858 cartridges of etomidate and 5.21 grams of methamphetamine. In North Jakarta, an undercover operation in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) I area led to the seizure of 400 etomidate cartridges valued at Rp2.8 billion. Police are currently pursuing a foreign national, identified as C, suspected to be the controller of the etomidate distribution.

Other regional successes include the arrest of a wanted man in Pamekasan for methamphetamine distribution, the seizure of five kilograms of marijuana in Batu via land courier services, and the apprehension of a suspect in Panipahan, Rokan Hilir, with 34 small packages of marijuana. In Ogan Ilir, three individuals were detained at a nightlife venue with ecstasy and methamphetamine.
