Jakarta South Environment Agency Tackles Persistent Trash Buildup at Pasar Minggu Railway

Officials of the South Jakarta Environment Agency, led by head Rizky Febriyanto, say their crews remove garbage each day from along the railway tracks near Pasar Minggu Station. Despite daily removal, the piles quickly reappear because people from other districts discard waste illegally. Febriyanto warned, "After the waste is cleared, some members of the public continue to litter, so the piles keep recurring." In response, the agency will strengthen supervision and coordinate with related authorities to curb illegal dumping.
