Transjakarta repairs Corridor 9 separators to prevent accidents

PT Transjakarta, in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, has begun repairing and reorganizing mobile concrete barriers (MCB) along Corridor 9, which connects Pinang Ranti to Pluit. The initiative aims to prevent non-Transjakarta vehicles, particularly heavy trucks, from entering the dedicated bus lanes and to minimize traffic accidents.

The project includes repositioning damaged concrete structures, repainting separators with high-visibility colors, and installing additional safety equipment such as chevron signs and solar-cell road studs. These measures are intended to maintain lane sterilization, ensure consistent bus headways, and improve safety for passengers and drivers during night or poor weather conditions.
