Jakarta to host FIA Rallycross World Cup 2026 in Ancol

Jakarta has been selected to host the FIA Rallycross World Cup 2026 at the Ancol Rallycross Circuit on December 5 and 6, 2026. The event, promoted by Sarga Motorsport, will feature both asphalt and dirt tracks across two racing categories: RX1 and RX5.

International racing stars are expected to participate, including nine-time World Rally Championship winner Sébastien Loeb and 2025 FIA Extreme H World Cup champion Kevin Hansen. Sarga Motorsport aims to attract 25,000 spectators per day.

According to Ricky Wirjan, Deputy Chief of Sarga Motorsport, the competition serves as a strategic move to expand rallycross into the Asian market and strengthen Indonesia's national motorsport ecosystem. The event also aims to enhance Jakarta's reputation as a destination for sportainment and international sports tourism.
