Jakarta Fair 2026 draws 6.1 million visitors, Rp8.2 trillion transactions

The 32‑day Jakarta Fair (PRJ) 2026 was held from 11 June to 12 July at JIEXPO Kemayoran to mark DKI Jakarta’s 499th anniversary. Over 6.1 million visitors attended, and total sales reached more than Rp8.2 trillion, highlighting the fair’s role in supporting local UMKM and the creative industry.

During the fair, the Jakarta Regional Revenue Office set up a temporary Samsat kiosk in Hall C1, allowing motorists to pay vehicle tax and registration fees without penalties as part of a city‑wide tax‑waiver program running 1 June‑31 August.

Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) also used the event, particularly the Puspa Nuswantara batik exhibition at the Jakarta Convention Center, to promote digital payments. The bank offered cash‑back up to Rp800 000, QRIS vouchers, 0 % instalments and other incentives for debit, credit‑card and QR‑based transactions, aiming to boost electronic payments for batik UMKM.

Together, the high visitor turnout, record transaction volume and ancillary services underscored the fair’s economic significance for Jakarta and Indonesia’s broader digital‑payment push.
