Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute expands services to Tabora

The Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) has entered into an agreement with the Kitete Regional Referral Hospital in Tabora to establish specialized cardiac diagnostic and treatment services.

This partnership aims to bring specialist heart care closer to residents of the Tabora region and neighboring areas, including Mwanza, Shinyanga, and Singida. Under the agreement, JKCI will provide capacity building and training for Kitete's healthcare professionals and assist in improving the clinical environment to meet JKCI's service standards. The initiative is intended to reduce the need for patients to travel long distances to access specialized cardiac care.
