Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute provides medical services in Mwanza

The Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) is conducting a five-day specialized medical camp in Mwanza, Tanzania. The initiative, held at the Nyamagana grounds, focuses on screening and treating human diseases, with a specific emphasis on cardiovascular health.

Nyamagana constituency MP John Nzilanyingi noted the high demand for services, stating that the long queues at the JKCI booth demonstrate public trust in the institution’s quality of care. The camp is organized by the Office of the Nyamagana MP in collaboration with the Mwanza Regional Medical Officer.

The medical camp is part of government efforts to bring specialist services closer to citizens, increase awareness of non-communicable diseases, and encourage regular health screenings.
