Jake Garcia wins first NASCAR Truck Series race at Bristol

Jake Garcia secured his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory at Bristol Motor Speedway during the UNOH 250. Driving the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150, Garcia led 104 laps to claim the win after a strategy allowed him to move from the back of the field to the front.

Bayley Currey finished in second place, marking a career-best result in his first start of the season. Stewart Friesen took third, followed by Justin Haley in fourth and 16-year-old Tristan McKee in fifth. McKee, who had won the ARCA East championship earlier that day, became the youngest driver to achieve a top-five finish in the series.

The race was a difficult outing for championship contenders Layne Riggs and Chandler Smith. Despite winning both stages, Riggs finished 32nd due to mechanical issues, leaving him with a narrow three-point lead over Kaden Honeycutt in the championship standings.
