Jake Hager and Patricia Blackburn announce engagement

Former WWE and AEW wrestler Jake Hager and Power Slap athlete Patricia Blackburn have announced their engagement. The news was shared by Power Slap, which noted they are the promotion’s first official couple.

The announcement follows a recent medical period for Hager, who required emergency surgery for a serious eye injury sustained during a Power Slap match against Johnny Magna. Blackburn had previously provided updates on his recovery process.

Hager, formerly known as Jack Swagger during his decade-long tenure in WWE, has recently transitioned into the Power Slap competition. No official timeline has been established for his return to competitive action.
