The Gigantes del Cibao have announced the return of American first baseman Jake Holton for the upcoming Dominican Professional Baseball League (Lidom) season.

Holton, a 28-year-old right-handed batter, previously delivered a strong performance during his first season with the team. In 12 games and 51 plate appearances, he recorded a .419 batting average, five doubles, eight RBIs, and seven runs scored. He finished with a .510 on-base percentage, a .674 slugging percentage, and an OPS of 1.184. Notably, he maintained a .455 average against left-handed pitchers.

General Manager Jaylon Pimentel expressed satisfaction with the signing, noting that Holton is a player the organization knows well and who has proven his ability to produce offensively within the league.
