Jake Paul cleared to return to boxing after jaw injury

Jake Paul has received medical clearance to return to professional boxing following a jaw injury sustained during a knockout loss to Anthony Joshua last December. Paul underwent surgery to repair fractures in two locations on his jaw and has since completed his recovery process.

Following the medical approval, Paul released a wishlist of potential opponents on social media. At the top of his list is Mexican boxing star Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez. Other names mentioned include Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor, Sean Strickland, Deontay Wilder, and Ryan Garcia.

While Paul expressed interest in a high-stakes bout with Álvarez, the Mexican champion previously dismissed the idea as a publicity stunt, though he noted he might consider such a match toward the end of his career. Additionally, UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has publicly expressed interest in fighting Paul.
