Jake Paul announces Christmas Eve boxing return in Dubai
American boxer Jake Paul has announced his return to the ring for a headline event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, scheduled for Thursday, December 24, 2026. The announcement, made by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), marks Paul’s first professional fight since December 2025, when he suffered a broken jaw during a heavyweight bout against Anthony Joshua.
While the opponent and specific venue have not yet been confirmed, MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian stated that negotiations are ongoing with several potential candidates. Paul, who holds a professional record of 12 wins and two losses, described the upcoming event as the start of a new chapter in his career. He expressed enthusiasm for the city of Dubai, noting its reputation for hosting major global sporting events.
The event is a collaborative effort involving the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and MVP. This partnership aims to further establish Dubai as a premier international hub for combat sports and large-scale entertainment spectacles.
