Jakob AG completes IFS Cloud migration with FlexiCODE managed service

Jakob AG, a leading German provider of rope and net technology, migrated its IFS Cloud system to a dedicated Microsoft Azure environment. The project, carried out with FlexiCODE GmbH’s managed service, began in November 2023 and lasted about three months. During the switch, planned downtime was limited to four hours, after which the new system went live.

FlexiCODE now provides continuous on‑premise support, ensuring stable and scalable operation. According to Stefan Frey, Head of Software Strategy and Business Processes at Jakob AG, the solution is "highly efficient and extraordinarily stable," supporting the company’s international processes across Europe, Asia and North America. Performance optimisations have accelerated processes, eliminated error sources and markedly increased system stability.
