Jakov Milatović visits KBC Berane to discuss healthcare improvements

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović visited the Clinical Hospital Center (KBC) Berane to discuss the improvement of healthcare services in the northern region of the country. During his visit, Milatović met with hospital management and staff to review medical capacities and infrastructure.

Milatović emphasized that quality healthcare must be equally accessible to all citizens regardless of their location, stating, “Health knows no regional differences.” He noted that investing in KBC Berane is essential for the health security of a large part of Montenegro.

To support these efforts, a portion of the capital budget has been allocated for the modernization of equipment and infrastructure. Recent advancements at the facility include the opening of a modern angio suite for advanced cardiology and the performance of complex interventional neuroradiology procedures. The President also highlighted the importance of creating better working conditions to retain and support qualified medical professionals.
