Jakub Frolo Kelowna Rockets CHL Import Draft Ilves U20 Bruce Hamilton

The Western Hockey League's Kelowna Rockets announced the signing of forward Jakub Frolo. Frolo, an 18‑year‑old 6‑foot‑2, 194‑pound winger, was selected 33rd overall by the Rockets in the first round of the 2026 CHL Import Draft.

During the 2025‑26 season he played for Ilves' U20 squad in Finland's SM‑sarja league, recording 10 goals and 30 assists for 40 points in 37 games—a league‑leading points‑per‑game average among draft‑eligible skaters. In the playoffs he added two goals and seven assists over eight games as Ilves captured a silver medal. Rockets president and general manager Bruce Hamilton praised Frolo as an intelligent playmaker and said the club is excited to have him join the 2026‑27 roster at Prospera Place.
