Jakub Gołębiowski wins Szczecin Match Race

Jakub Gołębiowski and the HRM Racing crew won the Szczecin Match Race, securing their fourth consecutive Polish Match Racing Championship title. The event, held in Szczecin, is part of the World Match Racing Tour and serves as the Polish Open Match Racing Championship.

The competition featured 15 crews from eight countries, with 105 matches played under varying wind conditions. Gołębiowski and Marek Stańczyk dominated the initial Round Robin stage, each winning 12 of 14 matches, but Gołębiowski advanced directly to the semifinals following their head-to-head encounter.

Finnish sailor Lucas Karlemo took second place, while Patryk Zbroja of Yacht Klub Polski Szczecin earned the bronze medal. Other notable participants included Lennard Bal from the Netherlands and crews from France and Estonia.
