Jakub Solarski advances in Legia Warsaw Open tennis tournament

Polish players are advancing through the ITF M15 Yokohama Legia Warsaw Open, part of the Lotto PZT Polish Tour. Jakub Solarski has secured a place in the singles quarterfinals and the doubles semifinals.

In singles, Solarski defeated Jan Chłodnicki 6-3, 6-2 after progressing through the qualifiers. In doubles, Solarski and Adam Majchrzak advanced to the semifinals after defeating Andrija Porycki and Fares Zakaria 6-4, 6-4. They are scheduled to face Jan Chłodnicki and Vincent Reisach in the next round.

Adam Majchrzak also reached the singles quarterfinals following a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Szymon Karpiński. Other Polish players moving toward the quarterfinals include Jan Chłodnicki and Filip Peliwo. The tournament continues with several domestic matchups scheduled.
