Jakub Szymański medals in 110m hurdles at European Championships

Jakub Szymański secured a medal in the 110m hurdles at the European Athletics Championships. Szymański finished with a time of 13.26 seconds, missing his personal best by just 0.01 seconds. This achievement marks his first major outdoor stadium medal of the summer season, following previous success in indoor championships.

Other notable performances from Polish athletes included Damian Czykier, who finished fifth in the 110m hurdles semifinals with a time of 13.62 seconds, and Maksymilian Szwed, who placed sixth in the 400m with a time of 45.06 seconds. In the hammer throw, Anita Włodarczyk finished fourth with a best throw of 72.37 meters, while Silja Kosonen of Finland took the gold medal.
