Jakub Wiecki extends contract with Harzer Falken

Jakub Wiecki has extended his contract with the Harzer Falken for another season. The 37-year-old forward, who is entering his eighth season with the Braunlage-based regional league team, is considered a key versatile player for the squad.

In the previous season, Wiecki achieved a personal best for the club with 15 goals, contributing to a total of 15 goals and 19 assists in 29 games. His professional background includes approximately 110 second-division games for Lausitzer Füchse and roughly 380 third-division appearances for various clubs including Leipzig, Freiburg, Halle, and Erfurt. Wiecki, who was born in Poland, previously represented his home country in two youth world championships.
