Jakub Zabłocki completes $403M sale of XTB shares
Jakub Zabłocki, co-founder and major shareholder of the Poland-based CFD broker XTB SA, has completed the sale of 9,405,540 shares through his Luxembourg-registered investment vehicle, XX ZW Investment Group SA.
The transaction, conducted via an accelerated bookbuilding process for selected institutional investors, represents 8% of XTB’s outstanding shares. The shares were sold at PLN 160 each, an 8.2% discount to the previous Wednesday closing price, totaling approximately PLN 1.5 billion (roughly $403 million to $410 million).
Following the sale, Zabłocki’s stake in XTB has been reduced from 35.78% to 27.78%. As part of the agreement, XX ZW Investment Group SA has entered into a 360-day lock-up period, during which no further shares can be sold. The sale was managed by Bank Handlowy, Citigroup, and UniCredit, in cooperation with Kepler Cheuvreux S.A.
