Kamil Grabara joins Juventus on loan from Wolfsburg
Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has joined Juventus on a one-year loan from VfL Wolfsburg. The deal, which includes an option to purchase the 27-year-old for approximately 11.5 to 12 million euros, was finalized following a period of goalkeeper restructuring at the Italian club.
Grabara arrives in Turin to compete for the starting position with Guglielmo Vicario, who was recently signed from Tottenham Hotspur. The move follows the departures of Mattia Perin to Palermo and Michele Di Gregorio to Bournemouth. In his first official interview, Grabara expressed pride in joining a club with such a storied history of legendary goalkeepers, including Gigi Buffon and Wojciech Szczęsny, whom he noted has supported the move.
The transfer marks a significant career step for Grabara after a challenging season in Germany, where Wolfsburg suffered relegation from the Bundesliga. He is expected to undergo medical examinations before finalizing his contract for the 2026/27 season.
