Jalaludin Hassan wins inaugural Kilauan Emas Selebriti 2026

Veteran actor Jalaludin Hassan has been crowned the inaugural winner of the Kilauan Emas Selebriti 2026 competition. At 72 years old, the actor secured the title during the grand finale held at MBSA in Shah Alam through performances of ‘Humko Humise Churalo’ and ‘My Way’.

In addition to the title, Jalaludin receives a trophy from Astro, an opportunity to produce a single with Rocketfuel Entertainment, and special edition gold sponsored by Jus Arabic Gold. He also received a three-day, two-night stay at the Grand Mercure Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang.

Beyond the competition, Jalaludin donated RM2,000 of his winnings to fellow actor Salih Yaacob. The program was designed to combine entertainment with charitable efforts to support veteran artists. Other notable participants included runner-up Datuk Ahmad Tarmimi Sarigar and third-place finisher Zila Bakarin.
