Jalandhar Warriors chase 265 to beat Amritsar Soormas

The Jalandhar Warriors secured their first victory of the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League 2026 by chasing down a target of 265 against the Amritsar Soormas at the I. S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

In a high-scoring match totaling over 500 runs, the Amritsar Soormas posted 264/5 in their 20 overs, led by captain Abhishek Sharma’s 82 runs off 36 balls and Naman Dhir’s 117 runs off 56 balls. Dhir’s century included 10 sixes and was part of a 151-run second-wicket partnership.

The Warriors responded aggressively, reaching the target in 16.5 overs. Captain Prabhsimran Singh anchored the chase with an unbeaten 125 runs off 47 balls, featuring 14 fours and 8 sixes. He was supported by Harjas Singh Tandon, who scored 42 off 21 balls, and Anmol Malhotra, who remained unbeaten on 53 off 23 balls. The Warriors finished the match at 265/2, winning by 8 wickets.
