Jalandhar Warriors dedicate T20 victory to grieving teammate

The Jalandhar Warriors secured a seven-run victory against the Ludhiana Lions in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League at the I. S. Bindra Stadium. After posting 169/8, with Gourav Markan scoring 52 and captain Prabhsimran Singh contributing 39, the Warriors defended their total in a tense final over led by Randeep Singh.

Following the match, Captain Prabhsimran Singh dedicated the win to teammate Anmol Malhotra, whose mother passed away three days prior to the game. The team visited Malhotra’s home to offer condolences and expressed their intention to support him through his grief.

With this win, the Jalandhar Warriors move to the top of the league table with eight points, while the Ludhiana Lions remain at the bottom with four points.
