Jalandhar Warriors defeat Ludhiana Lions in Sher-E-Punjab T20

The Jalandhar Warriors defeated the Ludhiana Lions by seven runs in a Sher-E-Punjab T20 League match held at the I. S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

After a difficult start that saw them reduced to 16/3, the Warriors recovered through a partnership between Prabhsimran Singh, who scored 39 off 30 balls, and Gourav Makan, who contributed a half-century with 52 runs off 43 balls. Aryan Yadav provided a late boost with an unbeaten 35 off 26 balls, helping the team reach a total of 169/8 in their 20 overs. Krish Bhagat led the Ludhiana Lions' bowling attack with four wickets for 37 runs.

In response, the Ludhiana Lions reached 79/3 after a 49-run opening partnership. A 54-run stand between Arjun Rajput, who scored 45, and Salil Arora, who made 26, kept the chase competitive. However, the Lions were ultimately restricted to 162/8, falling seven runs short of the target.
