Jalen Brewster eligibility uncertain at Buford High School

Five-star defensive lineman Jalen Brewster is currently ineligible to play for Buford High School in Georgia due to pending paperwork. Although Brewster has enrolled and is attending classes, the necessary documentation has not yet been submitted to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) for eligibility clearance.

Buford athletic director Tom Beuglas confirmed that the school is waiting on documentation from Brewster’s father to begin the process. This delay leaves Brewster’s availability uncertain for Buford’s upcoming game against Mallard Creek.

Brewster, a top-ranked national prospect, transferred to Buford from Cedar Hill in Texas. He remains committed to playing for Texas Tech following his high school career.
