Jalen Brunson's Game 1 Finals Jersey Sells for Over $1 Million

A game‑worn jersey of New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson from Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Finals was sold at a Sotheby’s auction for just over $1 million, the highest price ever achieved for a Knicks‑related piece of memorabilia. Brunson scored 30 points in the Knicks' 105‑95 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, a win that launched New York's first championship since 1973. He was later named Finals MVP after averaging 32.6 points per game as the Knicks clinched the title in five games. The auction also featured other Finals items, including the net from Game 5, which fetched $179,200. While the price sets a new benchmark for Knicks collectibles, it remains below the record $1.38 million paid for Michael Jordan's 1998 Finals jersey.
