Jalen Hurts caught on mic using profanity during Eagles loss

During the Philadelphia Eagles’ 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Jalen Hurts was captured on a live FOX microphone using profanity to address a teammate. The outburst occurred during the team’s opening possession when Hurts identified an alignment issue involving wide receiver Elijah Moore and tight end E. J. Jenkins. Hurts shouted, “Get off the f—ing ball! Come on!” to correct the formation before the snap, successfully avoiding a procedural penalty.

Following the game, former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles analyzed Hurts’ performance, noting a need for quicker decision-making and faster ball release. Foles observed that Hurts appeared to hesitate on plays where opportunities to throw deep existed, despite the Eagles playing without several key starters, including DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Lane Johnson, and Saquon Barkley.
