Jalen McMillan expected to miss 6-8 weeks with knee injury
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks due to a PCL injury. McMillan re-injured his left knee during the team’s 23-16 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
McMillan, 24, had previously sustained an injury to the same knee during training camp. The team is reportedly seeking a second opinion to establish a more definitive recovery timeline, though the injury may lead to a placement on injured reserve.
The injury comes at a difficult time for the Buccaneers' offense, as quarterback Baker Mayfield is also expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks with a thumb injury. Emeka Egbuka currently leads the team in receptions and receiving yards.
