Jalgaon student dies following Raksha Bandhan celebrations

A 17-year-old student, Rohit Sahabराव Thangar, died in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, shortly after celebrating the Raksha Bandhan festival with his family. Before his death, the eleventh-grade student reportedly sent an emotional message to his sister via social media, asking her to look after their parents and not leave them alone.

Preliminary investigations suggest that financial losses related to online gaming may have played a role in the tragedy. Reports indicate that Thangar had sent a video message to a friend expressing distress over money lost through online gaming. When friends arrived at his home following the message, the incident had already occurred.
