New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is facing uncertainty regarding his roster status after missing several practices due to a lower-leg injury. Hyatt, who was selected 73rd overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, has been ruled out for the team's preseason opener against the Minnesota Vikings.

Hyatt's recent production has declined, recording only 36 receptions for 470 yards over his first three seasons. With the Giants' receiver room currently projected to include players such as Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, and Odell Beckham Jr., Hyatt is competing for one of the remaining spots on the 53-man roster.
