Jalisco Mother Fabiola N Charged with Attempted Poisoning of Three Children

A woman identified as Fabiola “N” has been formally linked to a criminal process in Jalisco for attempted parricide after investigators determined she gave rat poison to her three children in the community of San Sebastián el Grande, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga. The Vicefiscialía of Specialized Investigation for Women, Children, and Families presented evidence that the toxic substance was administered through a drink, leading to her detention and a court order for two years of preventive imprisonment. The investigation must be completed within five months. The three minors were taken to a hospital, are now out of danger, and remain under the protection of the Procuraduría de Protección de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes.

The case was processed by the local public prosecutor’s office, which, based on forensic and investigative findings, deemed the evidence sufficient to issue the formal charge of attempted parricide. The authorities continue to monitor the children’s welfare while the legal proceedings advance.
