Jalisco state institutes provide vocational training across various regions
The Jalisco Institute for Work Training (IDEFT) has implemented several training programs across the state to bolster economic development and professional skills. In Puerto Vallarta, local businesses participated in training focused on customer service, teamwork, and human development through the ‘Jale Seguro al Estilo Jalisco’ program, which targets micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
In other regions, including Jamay, La Barca, and Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos, 81 individuals completed specialized vocational courses. These programs covered a range of trades such as classic and modern barbering, professional makeup artistry, spa therapy, alternative therapies, and general accounting. These initiatives aim to promote self-employment and strengthen the productive activities within these local communities.
