Burg joins Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament in Athens

French basketball club Burg, the reigning EuroCup winner, has joined the Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament in Athens. The club accepted an invitation from Panathinaikos to complete the four-team lineup for the preseason event scheduled for September 18 and 19.

Burg will compete alongside Panathinaikos, Partizan, and PAOK. To participate in the Athens tournament, Burg withdrew from the Thierry Ruppert Trophy in Poissy, where they were originally scheduled to play Le Mans.

The tournament schedule features Partizan vs. PAOK and Burg vs. Panathinaikos on the first day, followed by Partizan vs. Burg and Panathinaikos vs. PAOK on the second day. This marks a reunion between Burg and Partizan, who last met nearly six years ago.
