Jamaica defeats Aruba 1-0 in CFU Under-14 football tournament

Jamaica's Under-14 boys' team maintained their lead in Group C of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Tier 1 Challenge Series following a 1-0 victory over Aruba in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

After a scoreless first half, Christian Foster secured the win for Jamaica with a back-heel goal in the second half. The match was noted for its physicality, resulting in five yellow cards and a red card for Aruba’s Sebastian Wever. With this win, Jamaica moves to six points in the tournament.

Head Coach Vassell Reynolds previously noted that the team would face a significant challenge against Aruba. Following their success against St Kitts and Nevis in the opening match, Jamaica is scheduled to complete their first-round schedule against Curaçao.
