Jamaica U-15 Reggae Boyz eliminated from FIFA tournament

Jamaica’s Under-15 Reggae Boyz saw their historic run at the FIFA Under-15 World Cup and Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan, come to an end following a 5-1 defeat to the Czech Republic. Despite scoring an early header in the second minute, the team surrendered the lead and conceded three more goals in the second half.

The loss means Jamaica finished second in Group AB with 12 points, trailing the Czech Republic by three points. While the team failed to qualify for the top-tier tournament phase, they will move on to compete in Tier B, where they are expected to face other high-quality teams such as France and England.
