Jamaican reggae artists announce new concert and collaborative single

Reggae artists are launching new projects focused on live performance and social advocacy. Capleton and Tarrus Riley are scheduled to headline the “Reggae Giants Live!” concert at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on November 27, 2026. The event, presented by Roadblock Radio, CCB Int’l, and Team NORIE, aims to celebrate Jamaican music and dancehall culture.

In a separate initiative, Buju Banton and Protoje have collaborated with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Cocoa Sarai on a new single titled “Oh My.” Released in recognition of World Mental Health Day, the track is part of the upcoming Conscious Planet EP, which supports the global Save Soil movement. The project, executive produced by WondaGurl, utilizes reggae's tradition of social consciousness to promote mental wellness and environmental awareness.
