Jamal al-Zamaki calls for enhanced air defense systems in Yemen

Brigadier General Engineer Jamal Haidara al-Zamaki has emphasized the urgent need to strengthen air defense capabilities to counter ongoing threats from ballistic missiles and drones across various combat fronts.

Al-Zamaki stated that acquiring advanced air defense systems is essential for protecting vital installations, government headquarters, airports, and ports. He noted that the intermittent launch of ballistic missiles causes widespread concern among civilians, particularly women, children, and the elderly, due to the risk of casualties and damage to infrastructure in populated areas.

He stressed that improving defensive measures is critical to minimizing human and material losses and ensuring the security of essential services and public spaces during military operations.
