Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz sidelined by injuries during international break

Several high-profile footballers have sustained injuries during the current international break, most notably Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz during Germany’s UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands.

Jamal Musiala, playing for Bayern Munich, suffered a tear in his right thigh during the pre-match warm-up. He is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks. Germany will be without him for their upcoming fixture against Greece, and Bayern Munich will need to find tactical alternatives in his absence.

Arsenal’s Kai Havertz also sustained a muscular injury during the same match, being substituted in the 30th minute. Both players are undergoing medical assessments to determine the severity of their conditions. Other players affected by injuries during this international window include Sunderland’s Brian Brobbey and Japan’s Zion Suzuki.
