Jamal Roberts named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Jamal Roberts, a running back for the University of Missouri, has been named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Roberts achieved this honor following a series of dominant performances. In a recent victory over Texas A&M, he rushed for 222 yards on 34 carries and scored two touchdowns. This followed a performance against Florida where he recorded 211 yards and three touchdowns.

With these consecutive games of over 200 rushing yards, Roberts becomes the first Missouri player and only the third SEC running back in the last 20 seasons to achieve back-to-back 200-yard rushing games, joining Derrick Henry and Leonard Fournette. Through six games, Roberts leads the SEC with 828 rushing yards.
