Jamayne Isaako to depart Dolphins for Melbourne Storm

Jamayne Isaako has confirmed he will depart the Dolphins for the Melbourne Storm following the club’s preliminary final match against the Sydney Roosters. Isaako, a foundation player who has appeared in all 97 games in the club’s history, cited salary cap constraints as the reason the Dolphins were unable to match the offer required to retain him.

Isaako expressed that leaving is a “bittersweet moment,” noting that he had hoped to remain with the club he helped build. The player credited the Dolphins with resurrecting his career after facing uncertainty following his departures from the Broncos and Titans in 2022.
